"Mr. Chase did a world class job. The Halloween tour was very cool and our guide, Mr. Chase was fantastic, he never broke character, even when a gang of incredibly nasty teens and pre-teens came through heckling and cursing and calling him names. Mr. Chase handled everything so professionally and he was so knowledgeable, informative and entertaining that I highly recommend this activity and especially on Halloween night, it was awesome!"

"I have done a LOT of touring, dining and hitting local nightspots. I booked this tour to show my kids, 11 and 13 DC without having to hear complaints about heat and/or crowds. The tour provided a perspective I've not gotten before. It entertained the kids. There was some political banter but it was humorous and seemed to play both sides. A nice tour overall!"

"I really enjoyed this tour as it was full of stories I had never heard of. Definitely a great activity if you want to do something different than the regular historical tours and the Hill area is cool at night. No sightings this time, but that didn't make it any less fun!"

“Excellent Tour!” Reviewed September 5, 2015
"Having the tour guided by a historical figure (Samuel Chase) adds to the experience. The tour included a variety of stories around the Library of Congress and the Capitol grounds and the Supreme Court building. The guide gave historical information about the people in addition to the actual stories of the hauntings that have happened so you got a complete picture and it was all delivered in a very funny and theatrical manner. I've been on ghost tours in New Orleans, Gettysburg, Wilmington, NC, Cape May, Philadelphia, Boston, London, Munich and others and this is definitely one of the most enjoyable. I am a local and have always felt like DC lacks good ghost tours outside of October, so I recommend this one to both visitors and locals to hear a different side of history."
